Copy Writing Crash Course - Part 1

An Introduction To Copy Writing
So, you’re at the verge of releasing your product, one which you believe should be a blockbuster since you know of its high quality and you have invested a lot of effort, time and resources for its creation.

There is no reason why it should become a market failure, right?

Well, guess again.  Despite what many idealistic online merchants would rather believe, online marketing is a sales page-driven industry.  By this, I mean that the success of a product greatly depends on how well-written and how potent the sales letter that promotes the same can be.

Your Sales Pages Is Your Digital Salesperson

Doing business online has its own set of limitations.  The most obvious of these is the fact that transactions are less personal.  You can’t meet your prospects and talk to them face to face.  They can’t see you.  They can’t even hear your voice.

All you have are words – printed words – by which you can convey your business message.

How well you’ll be able to convince your prospects to purchase your products will depend on how well you’ll be able to use the words at your disposal.  Use the wrong words, or use the right words the wrong way, and you can potentially turn them off instead of winning their consent.

Hence, the creation of your sales page is a very fragile matter, a task which many online businessmen would rather leave to the experts.

Copy Writing Is Not Only A Skill, It’s A Science

Copy writing is the term for the creation of a sales copy.  Professional copywriters spend thousands of dollars and countless hours of formal education to hone their craft.  Why?  Because copy writing is a very sensitive task.  Often, the difference between millions of dollars in profit and a product that will prove to be a loss boils down to the usage of a single word.  After all, readers who encounter a word that they do not like can simply redirect their browsers somewhere else, thus making you lose a sale.

If you want to learn copy writing to enable you to prepare your own sales letter, then I must be honest with you.  The best way to accomplish such is to enroll in any reputable academy offering such lessons.  Nothing can beat formal education.

But if you just can’t wait and you want to acquire some copy writing skills fast for that product you are itching to release, then here are two alternatives:

1. Hire a Copywriter.  This will set you back a couple of thousands of dollars, but at least, you will often have a web copy that sells.

2. Study this e-course and we will attempt to make you a good copywriter in 7 lessons.

Copy writing is not something that just about anyone can do.  There are some skills that you are expected to possess before attempting to learn the same.  The most essential of these skills is your writing prowess.  You need to learn how to write, and how to write well.  The only way you can do this is by reading a lot.  Veteran writers will tell you that no one can write from a vacuum.  You need to have ideas to share, models to follow, and a style to develop, and all of these can be learned through vigorous reading.

Viral Marketing Goes Mobile

Mobile devices, mobile phones and PDA’s are one of the last great frontiers of viral advertisement opportunities . However, we have become experts at filtering everything, our air and water, our e-mail and pop-ups, and our mobile devices as well. We are good at filtering. The very idea of unwanted advertising streaming through our Blackberries is abhorrent. Mobile devices are the ultimate opt-in medium and, therefore, a great way for marketers to connect with users…if that’s what the users want. “WANT” is the key word here. How should marketers approach the medium?  There are three main ways to achieve this. They are: 1. Offer exclusive content. Anyone can offer ring tones. It’s the unique content, such as exclusive mobile images of new brand concepts, that drives interest and calls them out in other media like e-mail campaigns, newsletters, websites, etc. So a wireless campaign is most effective when it offers exclusive content for wireless devices.  2. ...

Succeeding With AdSense Is More Than Just A Fantasy

These days, more and more online entrepreneurs are joining the AdSense bandwagon, what with the many rewards that can be gained from this PPC program.  There are reports of people earning as much as $20,000 per month from the AdSense program.  This fact alone can encourage anyone to at least give this income channel a try. How can you achieve the most success in your AdSense campaign? The More, The Merrier For starters, you have to remember that one website will rarely give you the results you can consider as profitable.  Though it’s possible to earn thousands of dollars per month from one website, it is very difficult.  You have to drive an enormous volume of traffic to such a website to start earning a lot from the clicks you will gain from your visitors. Besides, with your AdSense account, you’re not limited to using it on just a single website?  You can use the same AdSense account on numerous websites.  Settling on just one website wo...

3 Reasons Why Adsense Is Essential For Content Sites

To know why Adsense is essential for your content sites is to know first how this works.  The concept is really simple, if you think about it. The publisher or the webmaster inserts a java script into a certain website. Each time the page is accessed, the java script will pull advertisements from the Adsense program. The ads that are targeted should therefore be related to the content that is contained on the web page serving the ad. If a visitor clicks on an advertisement, the webmaster serving the ad earns a portion of the money that the advertiser is paying the search engine for the click. The search engine is the one handling all the tracking and payments, providing an easy way for webmasters to display content-sensitive and targeted ads without having the hassle to solicit advertisers, collect funds, monitor the clicks and statistics which could be a time-consuming task in itself. It seems that there is never a shortage of advertisers in the program from which the...
